Clannad - Dúlamán [LP]
Clannad - Dúlamán [LP]
CLANNAD shot to fame after their success in the Slógadh festival organised by Gael Linn in the 1970s. Their name derived from Clann as Dobhar (family from Dobhar in the Donegal Gaeltacht).
The songs and tunes on their early albums with Gael Linn demonstrate powerfully the group’s unique arrangements of the traditional idiom. There is at once a nostalgic feel and a timeless quality to these recordings which is guaranteed to bring enjoyment.
As Clannad celebrates an exceptional career spanning over half a century with a farewell tour, Gael Linn is delighted to make a reproduction of the original 1976 Dúlamán album available once again on vinyl.
Dúlamán is ranked as a ‘must have’ for fans of Irish traditional music.
