Thomas Walsh is an Irish traditional composer and performer of significant renown having composed the noted standard in the trad-folk canon "Inisheer (Inis Oirr)", covered by countless folk artists in vocal and instrumental form.

‘Eva’s Tree’, inspired by family and friends, features thirteen new compositions from Thomas including the single ‘Hill 16’, a lively, uptempo trad tune composed in homage to the many times Thomas spent in the stand in Croke Park supporting his beloved Dubs.

‘Eva’s Tree’ features the talents of Eamon Keany on Irish and Greek bouzoukis, guitar, lute, harmonica and shruti, as well as Kieran Leonard on bodhrán, Sean Moran on uilleann pipes, Theresia Klumpp on fiddle. With guest appearances by The Tree Friends, Ksenia Walsh on Piano, Rachel Nolan on Flute and Katerina Speranskaya on the Cello.
