To celebrate Seán Ó Sé’s 50th anniversary as a performer, Gael Linn is pleased to release this new collection featuring many of Seán’s most popular recordings. Seán Ó Sé came to prominence in the 1960s with the song ‘An Poc ar Buile’ which he sang with the renowned group Ceoltóirí Chualann, founded by Seán Ó Riada. The song is still a favourite at seisiúin where everyone joins in the rousing chorus.

Over the years, Seán Ó Sé has made many recordings with Gael Linn and to celebrate Seán’s fifty years in the music business, a special compilation album is being issued. His many fans will treasure the new album as it includes songs which they remember but which have not been available for some time.
